Minor Gelcoat repairs to deck, cockpit and topsides.
All surfaces sanded, two-part epoxy primed, finished with several coats of International Perfection two-part polyurethane.
International anti-skid paint applied where required
New vinyl name and port of registration applied
Bathing platform fitted to transom
All windows removed, refurbished or replaced and resealed.

All hatches removed, sandblasted, re-anodised and resealed.
Cockpit locker lids refurbished with new hinges

Gas locker refurbished
New iroko washboards fitted
New iroko coach roof handrails repfitted  

Iroko Rubbing Strake removed and resealed

All deck fittings replaced or refurbished

New Whale Urchin manual bilge pump fitted

New Lagun adjustable cockpit table fitted (removable)

Rudder removed and refurbished, rudder bushes replaced and re-greased.
All anodes replaced
All skin fittings checked or replaced
Complete sanding and fairing of hull, keel and rudder

Several coats of International Gelshield 200 two-part epoxy primer.

Two coats of International Micron 350 anti-foul

(2 weeks prior to launch date)


Internal works

All roof linings throughout sanded and painted
All vertical surfaces throughout sanded painted or stained

Galley redesigned with installation of gimballed Plastimo oven, grill and hob

Corian acrylic resin worktops

Stainless steel sink and tap installed

Ceiling handrails removed, refixed, sealed and stained

All lockers cleaned, or repainted

All bilges cleaned and painted

All sea cocks replaced with DZR replacements

Heads compartment stripped and redesigned 

Jabsco toilet fitted

New sink and tap fitted

All existing pipework removed and replaced

Forward berth refurbished with suspended ceiling and spot lights.









Mechanical and domestic systems
Engine and gearbox removed and replaced
Engine bay steam cleaned painted and new insulation fitted
Exhaust system throughout replaced
Fuel tank removed, steam cleaned and refitted
New fuel tank valve tap fitted
All fuel hoses replaced with high pressure fuel hoses and filters fitted
Stern tube, stuffing box and shaft removed refurbished and refitted
New propellor fitted
New shaft rope cutter fitted
 Existing batteries, wiring and single switch system removed and replaced with new
Complete new 240v shore-power system fitted with RCD consumer unit and galvanic isolater
New pressurised cold fresh water system installed 


Mast and rigging
All mast fittings, rigging, lights and winches refurbished or replaced
Mast sanded primed and two-part polyurethane applied
All mast wiring removed and replaced
Boom and goose-neck fitting replaced
New boom brake installed
Running rigging all removed and replaced
Standing rigging inspected and checked by local rigger





 




Hermione was out of the water and languishing for some years in an east coast marina due to the previous owners ill health. The present owner purchased the boat in 2014 and had her transported by road to a boat yard on the river Medway in Kent.


It was here that Hermione underwent a ground up restoration taking almost three years from start to finish, below is a full list of  those works completed.
